Kids & Teens
Pilates is a mind and body discipline that can guide kids to
a stronger
body and more relaxed state of mind.
Learning
the Focus Pilates method of movement, kids will build a
healthy and flexible body - ideals they can continue to use
in their
everyday life in sports and towards adulthood.
Sport Specific Training
Pilates will develop strong core muscles and back strength
while
increasing flexibility and athletic performance.
Kids that are physically active (meaning 60 minutes a day)
have a
healthy self-image, stronger self-confidence and participate
better in
school and sports.
Remember, kids are not always naturally flexible. Often their
muscles
become tight and are susceptible to injury during growth
spurts. Be
sure to include stretching as part of your daily activity.

Understanding The Core!
When the core muscles are in perfect balance and proper alignment,
strong admonials should have bo problem "firing" automatically when you
remove an extremity from the core.
For example; While in a plank position, lift an arm or leg while
holding the plank.
Sculpting implies a combination of muscles growth and fat
loss...leaving the body looking...sculpted. However, you can't sculpt
muscles you haven't built.
This is where nutrition comes to play, providing the body with enough
protein to build muscles.
